Salesforce.com Integration
As a Salesforce.com user, you spend much of your time thinking, planning or communicating on accounts, leads, contacts, cases and so on. While doing so, you frequently need to converse, share, and involve co-workers and guests (clients or partners). With Qontext, you can do all of this on the Salesforce page and avoid switch-over to email. Every Account or Opportunity page is now a workspace to collaborate on.
Seamless integration with Salesforce Objects
When your Salesforce Admin enables Qontext, you will notice that it appears seamlessly integrated as an open panel within your Salesforce objects such as Accounts, Leads, Contacts, Opportunities etc… This open panel, the ‘Qontext Inset’, is designed to appear as one of the sections inside the Salesforce object page. Qontext Inset displays real-time Salesforce object-specific content and activity.
Stop digging your inbox
Each time you open Qontext Toolbox, you will see the most recent activity and any conversations or content that you may need while on a Salesforce page. Filtered and contextual information eliminates the need to dig through long-buried emails and file folders.
Involve others in your company or outside
Share a document or start a conversation with other individuals or groups in your company, including those who do not have access to Salesforce. Privacy settings are intuitive and simply ride on the existing Salesforce access controls. People you invite as guests (such as customers and partners) may need admin approval and will have restricted access or privileges.
Set the context for the conversation
When you start a conversation, select the Salesforce object such as an Account, Opportunity, or Contact where you would like to anchor or pin the conversation. This makes the conversation available wherever the pinned object appears and helps you with quick recall. You can also add additional information, such as account name, owner, due date, etc. This helps users in your corporate Qontext Social Portal understand the ‘context’ of the conversation without having to access Salesforce.
Participate without leaving Salesforce
While you may be involved in multiple conversations around different accounts, leads, opportunities, etc., you can follow and participate in all of them conveniently from inside Salesforce. From the Qontext tab on your Salesforce page, access your corporate Qontext Social Portal to view real-time activity feeds, alerts on items you are involved with, access to people profiles, groups etc.
